Who Wants Her?

E and I spent the weekend at my mom's house. And it was glorious.

Sleeping all night long, kind of glorious.

Seriously. The kid will pitch a fit, convince me I'm confining her to a torture chamber, and wake up every two hours for the first part of the night. But the second we're at grandma's house? Angelic. Perfect. Asleep before hitting the mattress. Not a peep, all night long.

So yeah, next time we're having another bout of sleeping wars here - we're packing up and heading to grandma's. She can wear herself out chasing dogs and climbing stairs (neither of which she sees here).

Grandma's house is always the best for getting the rug rats to do what you want them to do!

Don't questions, it's just one of those mysteries of the universe...

I would love to tell you I'm shocked by this, but that would be a lie. At least you know the answer to getting a decent night's sleep can be obtained. Mine? It needs to be the weekend. Oh yes, we sleep just fine on the weekend when no one has to be up in the morning, but once we roll around to Monday, let the screaming begin.

BTW, that picture ROCKS!

why do grandma's get all the good in our kids???? lol

when mine go to grandma's they usually get kind of whiney (the whole gimme gimme, gimme, thing). we're trying to break them of that habit, they are getting better. :)~

At least there's something to make her sleep! Ours decided to get up every 15 minutes once when we were visiting family. ARGH!
